CompoTech is a creative, composite technology and engineering company. We provide design, analysis and manufacturing services for structural carbon composite components. We apply fresh thinking for innovative design solutions to improve performance and productivity.

Agri Tech

CompoTech develops lightweight booms for crop sprayers using our advanced winding technology. We apply our knowledge and technical expertise from marine applications and machine tooling to enable customers to improve vehicle fuel efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Bicycles

Composite sporting goods offer extremely lightweight and supremely stiff and strong characteristics. For tubular bike frames, CompoTech’s automated filament laying and true zero degrees axial fibre placement offers repeatable quality with tailored laminate design. With continuous loop fibre connections with Intergrated Loop Technology (ILT) frame connection can be more robust and reduce the need for labour intensive laminating. This deomonstated by our CDuro bike frame developement.

Defence

CompoTech supports various development projects within the defence sector. Applications include All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) bridges and radar aerials. Our team of experts work alongside manufacturers to develop and test the structures, to then be finished and sold by the customer. Our lightweight telescopic technology lifting has been used in civil and defence applications for fast mobile deployment of surveillance, electronic or radio equipement.

Marine

CompoTech supports structural engineers and naval architects in the design and manufacture of mast and rigging spars. Our technology is used in a variety of vessels, ranging from super yachts through to dinghies. With the ability to place true zero-degree axial fibres under tension, stiffness and strength performance is guaranteed.

Mobility

CompoTech supports customers in the automotive and mass transportation markets. We collaborate with manufacturers across the supply chain ranging from high volume OEMs to concept cars, heavy goods and passenger vehicles.
